Breathing New Life Into Our Classroom
When I introduced Jump Start Jonny to my Year 4 class in 2019, I wanted to encourage more movement and excitement about being active. What I discovered was a complete transformation in our classroom. The children aren’t just exercising; they’re laughing, gaining confidence, and making new friends.
I’ve also seen a significant boost in their focus during lessons. Maths can be a challenge when energy dips, but a quick Jump Start Jonny dance revitalises everyone! Suddenly, hands are shooting up, and the class is buzzing with ideas.
Parents have shared their excitement, too, telling me how much their children are enjoying school and even dancing at home! It’s wonderful to see the joy we experience in the classroom extending to their home lives.
